Visions and Values

This is our challenge…. as a Church in Wales school Ysgol Dyffryn Iâl aims to provide, in partnership with all stakeholders, a quality education and a breadth of opportunities, so that all pupils reach their full potential.

We aim to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children will recognise and achieve.

The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.

We endeavour to make them proud of their heritage and the Welsh Language so that they can make their best contribution to society.

The primary purpose of education in Ysgol Dyffryn Iâl is to awaken a love of learning in young people and give them the ability and desire to carry on learning throughout life.

“Gweithio gyda’n gilydd, oll ynghyd.”

“Working together in Harmony.”

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Mission Statement

Preparing our children to reflect on life, nurture and care for one another by developing skills and independence to live happily in a bilingual environment.
